Paramahamsa Satyananda Saraswati who left his earthly body & entered maha samadhi on 5th December 2009 will be greatly missed by all of his many devoted followers.

He was a great inspiration to many people across the world including our own Swami Dharmananda Saraswati.

The Dharma Centre was established as a spiritual centre of yoga, with the blessings of Paramahamsa Satyananda Saraswati (founder of the International Yoga Fellowship Movement and the Bihar School of Yoga, India) and Trivadi Ramachandra, Swami Dharmānanda's spiritual teacher.

The aims of the Dharma Centre are:

	to promote and teach classical yoga under the direction and guidance of Sri Swami Dharmānanda Saraswati Maharaj
	to help produce a deeper understanding of yoga and the yogic practices
	to provide personal guidance
	to co-operate and communicate with other groups and societies interested in spiritual development

The spiritual head and Director of the Dharma Centre is Sri Swami Dharmānanda Saraswati Maharaj, who oversees the teaching programs and teaches on some of the courses and workshops.
